Where is Al Qarayen?
Al Qarayen belongs to the Muwaileh suburb and lies between University City Road and Al Dhaid Road (E88), with Al Noaf and Hoshi among its neighbours. In 2014 the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority announced a 43 km internal roads project covering all three, with street lighting, power and water networks.
University City, home to the University of Sharjah and the American University of Sharjah, is right next door, and Sharjah International Airport is a short drive away. Our office is on the same Maliha Road, in the Al Badie suburb.

Al Qarayen 1: Al Wahda Private School.
Al Qarayen 2: Al Qarayen 2 Park, opened by Sharjah City Municipality in February 2023 on about 70,000 sq m, with a football pitch and play areas including one for children with disabilities. Al Ansar International Private School is also here.
Al Qarayen 4: Al Qarayen 4 Park, opened in February 2023 on about 75,000 sq m, with a football pitch, walking paths, fitness equipment and a children's play corner.
Al Qarayen 5: Al Qarayen 5 Park, which hosted the government's Dawahi suburbs festival in December 2025, and Sharjah International Private School.
The area also has Al Qarayen Health Center, a primary healthcare centre.

Al Qarayen is mainly detached villas, most behind high walls with private gardens. A typical villa has a majlis (formal guest sitting room), a maid's room, a large kitchen and covered parking.
What sets it apart is plot size: most villas on the market here sit on plots of roughly 15,000 to 20,000 sq ft. That sometimes means two villas on one plot, or an annex and a large yard.
Getting around
In practice you need a car: public transport inside the districts is limited. Maliha Road takes you to Emirates Road and on to Dubai, and Al Dhaid Road to the rest of the emirates.
Because Al Qarayen is close to Sharjah International Airport, listen for aircraft noise when you view a villa; it varies from one street to another.
Who can buy in Al Qarayen?
